  • Are your products cruelty free?
You can rest assured that we do NOT test our products on animals and we do NOT use ingredients tested on animals. Only human volunteers get first dibs at our all natural balms.
  • Does "all natural" mean my product will expire faster?
Short answer is yes. But what you get in return is a highly effective (FRESH) product that actually delivers results! Here's how... Our balms and ingredients do not sit on shelves for years, instead, we ensure freshness and quality by hand blending a small batch made within the last 2-4 months. You will find a clear expiration date on the back of each product (usually about 2 years from date of order). Please ensure to open and start using your product at least 6 months before that date. We use natural preservatives to extend the life of our balms, however, they are no where near as potent as synthetic preservatives or chemical stabilizers. For this reason, we recommend using up your product within 3 to 6 months once opened to lessen exposure to microorganisms that naturally occur from skin and the air. Make sure to close your product immediately after each use to lock in freshness. Not doing so might result in a slight change of color and/or smell. We're positive that you'll love our balms so much you'll use up all the goodness long before you have to worry about expiration dates.
  • It's really hot this summer and my balm melted, can I still use it?
Of course! A melted balm or slightly mushy balm in no way impairs the efficacy of your product. However, the best course of action is to shut it tight and place it in the refrigerator. It will start to firm up pretty quickly (within the hour). All of our products contain natural waxes which means they do not easily melt, especially at home. Shipping, however, can present a challenge in the summer, particularly in the south. Product might melt during delivery or simply sitting in your mailbox. Just a quick visit to the fridge will resolve any melting issues and in no way affect the healing properties of our balms. We take pride in keeping our formulas free from synthetic stabilizers and feel this small issue is worth the small hassle to maintain our company's standard of toxic-free, natural healing.
  • Are your products vegan?
No. All of our products contain organic beeswax while some might contain lanolin. We provide a full list of ingredients on each of our products to help you make informed decisions that best suit your lifestyle.
